Hullo world - sorry we haven't talked to you for a while. We have actually done a few shows together (as part of Cabaret Sauvignon at the Canal Cafe theatre & also at the Battersea Barge - we love alliteratively-monickered venues) but not had a whole new 'World of...' spectacular for ages for one reason or another.

Anyway, we didn't mean to hurt your feelings by not writing, honestly we didn't. We still love you. In fact, we would be delighted if you'd come and join us at The Others (6-8 Manor Road, Stoke Newington - above the pool hall) on the 4th February 2005 for another night of Cabaret Sauvignon. There will be both of us plus ace double act Nice Mum, excellent stand-up from both Paul Foot and Tom Price, not to mention filthy songs from Beauty & The Bitch. I think we can quite safely say that never has a gay swan been better voiced. Never.

Will be performed at The Others on Friday, 13th August. There will be the usual mix of songs, standup, and silliness, as well as... a special guest!

No, really, a properly special one. Possibly some sort of television personality, but that would be telling.

Doors 8 - 8:30, the Others is at 6 - 8 Manor Rd, is reachable by train from Liverpool Street to Stoke Newington, or by the 73, 76, 106, 149 or 243 busses. Entrance is 3 of your Earth pounds, and, as usual, fun will continue until none of us can bear it any more...

At the Finsbury Festival, we'll be performing our always-funny "Pitching Session Sketch", and if you've got a ridiculous film title you'd like to see us pitch live on stage to a real member of the film industry, send it in a reply to this email.

(For those of you who don't know the sketch, it's based around improbable film titles, which are usually also weak puns: "Bridget Jones' Diary of Anne Frank", "Some Lycanthrope" or "A Room With A View To A Kill". You get the idea...)

The best entries will win DVDs, to be handed out live on stage! And if that isn't more exciting than a pony-and-Frazzles sandwich, I'll eat someone else's hat! Or Toby will.
